I was specifically referring to the "Kingdom" message. WT has explained many aspects of the kingdom (kings priests taken from earth, a new creation, judges, the restoration of paradise on earth etc.) WT is unique in preaching this informaion. There are many scriptural references that appear to back these aspects. However, maybe it was only meant to be preached in the 1st century. Rev. 6 mentions parallel events and to what extent should we feel that Jesus meant armagedden also?

The Modern Exodus: Perception or Reality?
by Hadriel ini'm completely new at this however just in my joining this forum and of course interacting with others i can't help but notice what appears to be a significant exodus from the organization.. for those of you that have long been in this game have you seen this before?
i'm really curious and we should refrain from the sensational, but is what we're seeing different than in years past?.
it sure seems like so so many are waking and leaving.

It's surely a steady exodus and it's gaining speed. 1975 and the early 1980's were pretty significant, but, now tons of
"new light" is becoming necessary because of the many false predictions and other wrong interpretations i.e. "generation". Also those who have been active for the last 30 to 50 years are noticing the changes. With the addition of the internet more and more are finding facts about WT that they were never told! In fact they were told not to seek outside information or chance being DF'd. More and more are coming to realize that since WT beginnings over 140 yrs ago, everyone was under the opinion that the world would end in their lifetime. They are waking up to the smoke and mirrors scam.

God said be fruitful and multiply, fill the earth and govern it.
by atomant inl have a problem with this.lf adam and eve didnt sin the earth would eventually have been full to the brim with perfect human beings.then what every man gets the chop or no more sex?then on the other hand we have the jw's sayingresurrected ones will not be allowed to marry in the earthly new system.. married survivors of armageddon will remain married.
single survivors of armageddon may or may not be allowed to marry.so it seems that people reborn into new system wont be able to procreate.
and married survivors will stay married so l assume that means they can still hanky panky and have babys thats a bit unfair..the earth can only accommodate a maximum number of humans then what for the married couples.

Latest "new guess" is that Jesus could have been referring to the anointed. In fact "they will be like the angels". -

Do you still believe in God?
by FormerlySandL ini never thought i would admit it, but i don't.
i might superstitiously have some kind of doubt but digging a bit deeper in my heart i really don't believe in god.
as a human i could never just sit and watch people be tortured, live years of abuse, suffer from illness and disabilities and all the other awful things people have to endure day after day without doing something about it.

Why Do Intelligent People Believe in God?
by cantleave inone of the most common thing thrown at atheists is - lots of intelligent people believe in god.
this darkmatter 2525's video is an excellent explanation as to why very logical people possess religious belief systems.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y201qzddzbg.

The age old argument, to believe in God or not has generated countless debates over time. A creation or evolution discussion changed my life back in 1968. The question was very simple. " What is more logical? To believe that orderliness (DNA and atomic structure) would come about from chaotic undirected explosions or a planner? Now I realize that according to an athiest viewpoint anything is possible over milliniums of time. But what is more likely according to what we observe in our environment? You've probably heard the illustration, " it would be more likely to place a bomb in a print shop, blow it to smithereens, and the result would be the complete volumes of the encyclopedia from A- Z with no errors! The universe is far more complex than any encyclopedia. Some form of intelligent director seems more logical to me. However that's everyones choice. The creation theory and the evolution theory are just theories. Everyone gleans whatever so called "facts" they need to satisfy their stand. One additional "fact" that still convinces me (so far) that there must be a grand architect is that the entire universe is made up of two things, matter and energy. Energy comes from matter and matter comes from energy. This is a fact. According to Isaiah 40:26, the creater is an abundance of energy. Therefore, the creater had the power needed to create the material universe. Another point that sways my conclusion is that every form of matter is made up of a structured particle, the atom. Most important is the fact that no one has been able to take matter (the dust of the ground) and" breathe into it the breath of life". Genesis says it was the creator. This seems very logical to me according to present discoveries. It appears that he made intelligent matter (humans) and intellient energy (the spirit creatures). When I came to the conclusion that it is more logical to believe in God, I was also introduced to WT. That sidetracted me for 45 years. I no longer believe WT has the whole truth, but, that has not stopped me from the logical beliefs I hold. -

Just want to share my take on the new circuit overseers visit. First impression, he's a control freak. He got up several times to correct the servants on lights, sound and speaker stand positioning. Give me a break. He led everyone by clapping for every part. Is this new light ? During his talk he touched on the bottom line of every visit and assembly, namely, " God is good,do more". It's laughable and sad. The CO is nothing more than a motivational speaker, a pitch man if you will. He then proceeded to criticize young ones who are going to or thinking of going to college. That guilt trip was covered in a Watchtower over 25 years ago which said college is an individual decision and we should not be judged if we attend. These personal opinions are not scriptural and damage the unity of the brothers. After all ,if the CO said it, it must be God's will. He then went on to speak about good spirit vs. bad spirit. Bad spirit is of course from satan. The main example he gave of bad spirit is when someone says that they " don't think the end will come in their lifetime". Are you kidding me ! Is he unaware of all the false predictions of the last 140 yrs. Needless to say WT is appointing men to carry out an outdated company line. Just to keep us all in the box by telling everyone not to listen to what's on the internet. Well the jigs up and the truth has set us free.

Hello to all,
This is my first post. I never dreamed I'd be on a site like this. I was baptized 43 years ago and pretty much have done and seen it all. I'm now certain that WT is not God's "spirit directed" earthly representative. This has been a gradual change since I began researching the "blood issue" and reading Ray Franz's books over a decade ago. Although much of what I learned and taught seemed to hold up to other beliefs ( hell fire, condition of the dead, immortality of the soul etc.), much of the other changing "new light" is nothong more than a "new guess". I served in all elder positions, have been given assembly talks and really believed I was doing it for Jah. I'm still attending some meetings, mostly to keep in good standing so that I can be part of the brotherhood and associate with some of my dear "letters of recommendation". I won't go anywhere else because I don't want to be shunned. However, blood issues and the disfellowshipping interpretation by WT make it a cult that is controlling and often deadly. Not a represenative of the God of LOVE! I'm trying to slip away gradually and unnoticed. Any who have questions about changed doctrine or need to talk about your plight, feel free to contact me. I'd be happy to meet others who share our experience.
